I find that very little of my design process is deliberate. For all the time that I might spend consciously trying to come up with a design, I seem to have a better results just listening to the randomness of the universe. A couple of half finished pieces sit next to other on the bench and I see something in them. I’m staring out the car window waiting for my son to get out of school and a thought pops into my head. This morning while doing something else
, I looked at some cabochons I made some time ago and hadn’t yet found a home, when it occurred to me to do this:

I like the way the tie wraps around the wrist, and I like that this can also be worn on the neck as a choker. Random idea.
